Pikes Peak in June 2009

Pikes Peak in June 2009

Let us  pray blessings for the celebration of Father Day this weekend.
Let us pray for those who are oppressed and in fear.  Let us stand up for those who are small or weak and need a helping hand.

They don’t come with a blinking neon sign that says “Miracle Here, Look, Look!”.   We have to seek them, recognize and acknowledge them.  When you are open to the idea that miracles happen all around us, you can begin to see them.  They come in all sizes, and various shapes and colors.  But only those who seek them, find them.

Thank you God, for the miracles of each day.  Help me to see and recognize them.  I appreciate the miracles in everyone’s lives, not only my own.  Watch out for all of us, and help us to watch out for each other.  Amen

Sieze the Day

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

As I traveled the Pikes Peak highway last Sunday, I was thinking how I plan and make lists.  Then, think I’m accomplishing something by checking things off the list.

In Kabbalah and the practice of Mystical Judaism it is suggested  the ultimate reality is there is only NOW.  While we are busy checking our lists and squinting to catch a glimpse of the future,  making a feeble attempt to prepare for it, there are those who know there is only Now. (more…)

Walking In The Light

First Epistle of John Verses 3 through 5

What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, that you also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write so that our joy may be made complete. And this is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

I John 2:8 Darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining.

When someone is acting differently than you expect, or doing something we don’t understand.  We tend to say something like, “What are they thinking?”

My mother, Donna, has a little saying that always puts grace in my heart.  “They are walking in all the light they have.” In fact we are all walking in all the light we have.  It is how we function, right or wrong, blue or green. We walk in all the light we have.

Easter dinner is over.  The church service is over, the eggs are gone. The after Easter walk needs to be in all the light we have, and now we have quite a bit.

Heavenly Father, we are grateful for our advocate in your son Jesus Christ.  Keep us walking in your light.  Keep us moving in the right direction.  Let us be bold in answering the calling you have for each of us today.  Amen

Who You Are

Monday, March 9th, 2009

We are all radiant, beautiful, spiritual beings.  We are made in God’s image.  It is important to remember that God loves us even when we don’t feel loved or loveable.

It amazes me that he loves us even when we are not at our best.  He loves us when we are not all we should be.  But his grace and mercy pour out upon us.  All we have to do is call on him.

Take a few moments and walk and talk with God today.  Go there in full knowledge of your true identity.  You are a radiant child of God.

Be blessed today

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008

I am so grateful to have each of you in my life.  I pray you all have a blessed day.

Pray believing God will answer.  May today be all you need it to be.  May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears.  May GOD manifest himself today in ways you have never experienced.  May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered.  I pray that faith enters a new height for you; I pray that your territory is enlarged. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity and joy.

My wonderful Aunt and Uncle sent this to me today.  It was a great way to begin my day, hope it will be a great blessing to all who read it.
