My embarrassment is I went to visit and things were so bad that I prayed, but not with belief that she would fully recover. I could not see it. I am so grateful that other people went to pray and they did believe. The experience taught me much. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. In the past, I have lived my life with very high expectations because I expect so much of myself. Well, you can only imagine my years of experience with disappointment! As of late, I have really been working on lowering my expectations and you know what? There is a lot less disappointment! However, when in prayer, we are told in the bible to ask and speak like it has already happened. Sometimes, our answer is not always God's answer but sometimes He really does grant us our wishes!
