Wisdom for our Leaders
There are many plates spinning in the government right now. Worrying about what elected officials will do won’t help. Contact allows them have a better understanding of what we want. Praying for them is a great thing to do.
Father God, I would like to pray for the leaders of our nation. Let there be a defined sense of unity in their actions. Let wisdom and truth fill them, and the power and wisdom of God guide them in all their actions. Bless them and strengthen them as they face challenges. Let them do their appointed jobs with a heart of service, as they are public servants. Give them workable and creative ideas to solve problems and issues. Let them know what to do, and then act upon what they know to be true. Let their actions be a blessing for generations to come.
I also want to pray for leaders of local governments. Let them also be strengthened and act in wisdom for the benefit of the people.
Luke 22:26
Let him who is the greatest among you become as the youngest and the leader as the servant.

Hello Erin
What a nice surprise to receive your little book and note in the mail today. I presume you got my address via World Day of Prayer. If not, how?
I shall read the book with interest and pass it and your note on to others in the World Day of Prayer movement in my area.
Perhaps you have heard that here in the state of Victoria we have had horrendous bushfires. 189 peope have been killed and thousands have lost their homes, businesses etc. We ask your prayers for God’s mercy on our state and for rain. We are in the 12th year of the longest drought on record.
God bless.

Greetings Pauline,
Thank you for contacting me. We have watched the news stories in absolute horror of how terrible it appears. You are all in our prayers. Let there be rain. God bless and keep you.
