Work Of Our Hands

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Everyone needs an income.  Everyone needs meaningful work. Our prayer today is for anyone who is looking for a new job. Say this prayer outloud, and give it to God.  Then wait and know your prayer is answered.

Father God, you know our human needs. I know there is a perfect job for me. I ask for guidance now.  Let me meet the right people, be in the right place at the right time, and allow the right job to come now in your wise and wonderful way.

I want to serve at work. Let me be a blessing and contribute in this new place, and let it bless my life also.  I stand and wait LORD.  I pray with faith. I am open to receiving this blessing and I rejoice in what the LORD has done for me.  Amen

Prayer The Book

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

An exciting event is taking place.  I have written a book called “Prayer: The Gate” and it is available on Amazon.com.

It is the result of listening for the still small whisper of God’s voice.  It also is a result of my passion to communicate with God, and develop and strengthen my spirit by lingering in the presence of God.

More will follow and the look of this blog site will be changing in the next couple of weeks.  A link will be added to Amazon so folks can order the book.

I want to thank friends and family for their support and encouragement.  I want to thank God for blessing me with creativity and inspiring me to write about the wonder and joy of prayer.

A Simple Prayer

Sunday, January 11th, 2009

Father God, I want to pray for those who are looking for work.  Open the doors for them to find work they will enjoy and work that will bless and prosper them.

I want to pray for those who need to increase their monthly income to meet all their financial obligations.  Let them be blessed, Lord.

Help each of us to find our path, to find the perfect task and work we are to do at this exact moment.  It may not be the job or task we are to do a year from now, but get us where you need for us to serve right now.

Amen

Luke 17:21 “In fact, the kingdom of God is among you.”
